Tap doctors are my plumbers for life. I have used them three times now and they have always come out within hours of my call and been quick and professional at a good price. They came out for a burst pipe in my ceiling this morning and also noticed a gurgling in my bathroom sink and fixed it for me free of charge. They did not have to do that. Clinton provided a great service and very informative about problem & resolution. Only issue which was out of Clinton’s control was a missing part in one of the kits which he will drop off tomorrow after showing me how to install after I said I could do that. Had problems with our kitchen mixer tap. Called Tap Doctor on Sunday expecting to have to wait a few days for a plumber to fix it. However, we got a call early Monday morning from their plumber Chris saying he’d be here within couple of hours. Chris replaced the tap, as well as three faulty isolation taps undersink, all within half hour, at a very fair price! Chris was courteous and professional throughout. Knew his stuff and got on with it. Totally commend Chris on his approach to the problem and recommend Tap Doctor for any plumbing issues. We were very satisfied with Richard’s service. 12 months ago we used the “no call out fee” to get a diagnosis on a failed hot water system. Richard temporarily fixed it without knowing it and advised it would fail again presently. It finally did and we recalled Richard to fully fix it. Which he did with precision and timeliness and at the 12 month old rate.

He was very cool about missing out on the installation last year, and yet again did not charge us for his second call out.

We had an issue with our gas hot water system just before the long weekend and Clinton responded quickly. He arrived exactly on time at 8:00am the next morning and clearly explained the issues with the valves and maintenance requirements.

What I appreciated most was his honesty. Rather than suggesting a complete replacement of the hot water unit, he focused on repairing and servicing the existing system, which is only a few years old. He also fixed two leaking taps that had been bothering us for quite some time.

I had several problems from my multi story apartment master tap/vavle being faulty, it was discovered that the tap washer was missing, no wonder the water would not completely turn off, even with multi pliers. I then required two sink taps fitted with 1/4 turn valves and quick fix connections joined on very short, bent copper pipes.
After several hours work myself I called the tap doctor. A 9am start, on time, clean, fast and polite.
This was a time sensitive repair as the complete tower water initially had to be turned off.

Nice chap, went to a lot of trouble getting the correct size socket. For our non standard anode. A little disappointed in couldn’t get the same anode material as the original. Surprised (maybe shouldn’t have been) that the plumber had no idea how or why anodes worked. The electrical side of the anode and why the aluminium one is not as effective. Tried to talk me into removing the “solar Junk” on the heater. The solar stuff makes a huge cost saving to the running costs. Will I use you guys again? Yes I will, will I recommend? Yes I would. Water was ponding in the cupboard below the kitchen sink. The drinking water pipework appeared to be fractured. After isolating the under sink drinking water system, I phoned the Tap Doctor. Mitch arrived within two hours and verified a cracked pipe. Because he didn't have a correct part with him, He scheduled my job for the first one the following day and went off to source the correct parts.
Mitch arrived just before 8.00am the next day and had the work completed within one hour.
