We recently had an awesome experience with The Tap Doctor South branch & the mrs said we should share the experience because we are pretty happy with the outcome & think it could be valuable to others.
Our hot water tank was leaking water from the bottom of the tank and we had no hot water pressure in our house.
We built this house in 2003, and we’ve had a couple issues with the tank not re-lighting and valves leaking in the past, so we were not surprised when we were informed we needed a new one.
We called them because my old man told us to as he had used them before and he was happy.
We had a lady plumber arrive (I was a bit surprised to see a lady plumber if I’m honest but she was bloody fantastic) and we think she is an asset to the company.
She was easy to deal with, professional, & the new system looks awesome.
The thing we liked about the company mostly was we were given a quote first with all inclusive costs upfront and it was the same figure on completion, so no hidden charges.
We didn’t have to pay for her to come and give us a quote.
She was on time – a bit earlier actually &
Job was done same day.
Yes we would use this company again if needed.

I had contacted two other well known plumbing companies: still waiting for one to get back to me over a week later & the other; the guy actually said “oh; the phone doesn’t ring very often” ….and ” I could pop out on Saturday and have a look for you”

Had an emergency; fast-flowing leak with hot water cascading out from under the sink. Phoned tap doctors, and the gorgeous Reece (that’s him on the ad: tall, dark, handsome and tattooed!) was at our’s within an hour! No call-out fee, he had to go get the part as our system is from Jurassic park, installed it & was all done & dusted within 40 minutes. Impressive, or what?! The tap doctor, the tap doctor YEAH!!

I had a blocked main drain & called Tap Doctor at 11am to get an appointment.

Being a Friday, I thought I’d be lucky to get anyone out before Monday so I was amazed not just that I got an appointment within the hour but the plumber also turned up when he said he would.

Also like previous times I’ve used the Tap Doctor service, he left everything more neat and tidy than he found it.

He explained up front what was involved & what the costs would be.
It wasn’t cheap but the plumber was good and turned up on time at very short notice.

So in the case of a plumbing emergency, good & quick take precedence over cheap

I have had too many experiences of plumbers with cheaper quotes for other jobs who turn up 3 hours late or sometimes not at all.

Any tradie who tells you they are cheap, good, fast and punctual is promising the impossible.

But with Tap Doctor, getting the latter 3 out of 4 is quite likely.

Sent an online query and got a phone call 5min afterwards to organize a plumber to come to the restaurant within 1hr at no cost to provide quote.

Really friendly service, booked the necessary repair for a suitable date. No hassle. Job was completed on time and I was really happy with result and price.
